Find and buy products from other brands’ websites without ever leaving Amazon, when the item isn’t sold directly by Amazon.
Currently beta testing in the Amazon Shopping app.
Disclaimer: All opinions below are my own and do not reflect Amazon or its partners. This is a personal portfolio describing my own point of view of my contributions as part of launches.
My work on Buy For Me spans search, discovery of Off-Amazon Brand (OAB) products, and product evaluation, including a complete redesign of the OAB product detail page in the Amazon Shopping app.
When customers search for branded items in the search bar in the Amazon Shopping app, they’ll see relevant results from Amazon and third-party sellers in our store, and in some cases, additional relevant products from other stores in a search widget named 'Shop brand sites directly.'

When customers tap a product from the search widget, they are taken to the new Off-Amazon Brand (OAB) detail page, for which I led the end-to-end design. I designed the product evaluation experience using real-time details pulled directly from brand sites, and created the animated visual that signals live offer verification to ensure information is up to date.
I also worked on the explanation of how Amazon uses agentic AI to purchase OAB products, helping build customer trust and highlight the AI-powered experience.

As the design owner for the Off-Amazon Brand (OAB) product detail page, I led the visual redesign to ensure customers clearly understood they were viewing a product from a brand’s site, not directly from Amazon.
After joining the Buy for Me team in October 2024, I proactively led rapid design explorations in response to leadership feedback that the OAB pages felt too similar to standard Amazon product detail pages.
Within two weeks, I developed a wide range of concepts — from subtle to bold — rethinking information hierarchy, product imagery, typography, and customer education about AI. Key UI components I designed included minimal container layouts, updated swatches, an image carousel, AI education modules, and a real-time offer verifier animation.
The redesigned detail page launched as part of our P0 release in March 2025 and was positively received by both customers and leadership.
We launched the beta experience in April 2025, and I’m continuing to lead designs for Buy for Me at Amazon. I’ll keep updating this project as it evolves!
